Up On the Roof
Selina grinned and stretched, more than eager to follow his lead. She hadn’t been up in a chase—even a playful one—in a long time. She missed running rooftops with someone. She straightened her suit and went out the back, easily climbing up to the top.
“Hey there, handsome,” she said, smirking as she sauntered up to him. “Wanna catch me?”
Wildcat stretched a bit as he grinned at the thought. If there was somebody worth chasing in his eyes, it was Selina. “You’ve got it, Kittycat.” With that he got into a runner’s stance. “Whenever you’re set, gorgeous.”
She rolled her shoulders, casually moving like her namesake, as though there was no hurry.
“Let’s go.”
She was off like a shot, leaping off the roof of the gym and landing running.
“Try to keep up, old man.”
*smirks and jumps as he starts running after her* Ya know what they say, only as old as you feel. And babe, right now I’m in my early twenties!
“Are you, now?” she called back, flipping backwards off the edge of a roof to land gracefully. “Then I guess it’s a shame I don’t like younger men.” She took off up a fire escape to get to some higher buildings, scaling it with ease.
“Come on, Wildkitty. Is that all you’ve got?”
*jumps and climbs, chases her* Reeowwwrrl. Kitty, cat you ain’t seen nothin’ yet!
She laughed wildly, making a sharp left and doubling around toward where they came.
“Show me, tiger, show me!”
